social day trip.

Leonard Matchan cruising on the Sharpness Canal

Leonard Matchan.  One of two purpose built for The Willow Trust, designed to provide access for all disabilities. Picture copied from The Willow Trust website.

Our group were very lucky to have a cruise on this barge on 11th September 2014.  We set off from Saul Junction on a very warm sunny day. Everyone enjoyed the cruise and the day was made very special by The Willow Trust crew and volunteer helpers, the barge was moored at Purton and our group were able to sit on the canal bank and have a picnic, before heading back to Saul Junction.
